The Max Law Approach
Substantive Experience
Leveraging complex trial experience for maximum client advantage. Not every personal injury attorney actually litigates and tries cases and handles the appeals in those cases. Max Law has substantive experience trying cases before juries, judges, and arbitrators and then defending the results of those cases on appeal.
Some attorneys do not try cases or handle appeals of those cases. And that is perfectly fine for many cases. However, defense attorneys and insurance adjusters usually know the attorneys that try cases and handle appeals. And often, cases with attorneys that try cases and handle appeals are valued higher. Whether a potential client chooses Max Law or not, they should ask potential attorneys about their trial experience and comfort taking the case to trial and handling an appeal, if necessary.
Personalized Service
Every client’s case is managed directly by Max Jones, ensuring you receive focused, attentive representation. Max Law does not accept every case that comes through the door. Max Law is selective in determining what cases he selects to ensure that each client that Max Law does represent, receives personalized and individual service.
Not every law firm is as selective as Max Law. Other firms may have hundreds of cases assigned to an attorney who manages a large team of paralegals or non-attorney assistants. Max Law is different. Max Law is not a volume practice, but prides itself on individual service.
Transparent Process
At each step, Max Law keeps clients informed, explaining legal strategy in plain terms to foster understanding and trust. The legal process of a lawsuit is scary and unfamiliar to almost every one of Max Law’s clients. Max Law views clients as partners in a relationship that involves the presentation of a client’s claim to achieve Maximum Recovery.
Clients that know of the timelines and reasons that steps are taken throughout the course of a lawsuit are ultimately better able to navigate the legal system and make informed steps to achieve maximum recovery.

Max is driven by a fundamental desire to make it right for individuals that are harmed by others.
Max grew up in a household where hard work and attention to detail were paramount. His father, a first-generation college graduate, taught him the value of putting others first and hard work. His mother, a preschool teacher, emphasized the importance of planning and attention to detail. These are core values of Max Law, a law firm that achieves maximum recoveries for individuals wronged by others.
From an early age, Max was driven by a desire to help others and be a leader in his community. Max was originally from the Bay Area, but moved to Roswell, Georgia as a young child. He grew up swimming and playing team sports, like football and basketball. Max has held leadership roles throughout his life: on sports teams, in school, and now in his community and professionally.
Max went to Sewanee: The University of the South for his undergraduate studies. Max graduated from Sewanee with a B.A. in History, cum laude. Max also played football at Sewanee, becoming a team captain and an all conference player. After college, Max went to law school at Georgia State University, where he served as the Editor in Chief of the Law Review and a member of Moot Court. Max used these opportunities to hone his advocacy and attention to detail, which he uses to advocate on behalf of his clients.
Max has worked in almost every facet of the legal system, which gives him a unique perspective on resolving disputes and fiercely advocating for clients. Max has worked for judges in both state and federal courts, investigated state judges for ethical issues with the Georgia JQC, and worked at the largest law firm in the world representing huge corporations to an elite litigation boutique in Atlanta. Max leverages these experiences to secure Maximum Recovery and Maximum Results for his clients, whether this can be done through pre-suit negotiations or requires a jury trial and appeal.
Max lives in the Kirkwood neighborhood in Atlanta with his wife Steph, and three rescue dogs, Bowie, Fiddle, and Marshall. Max and Steph (but not the three dogs) enjoy running, cycling, golfing, and scuba diving. Max is a parishioner at St. Thomas More in Decatur, Georgia.
